The Ex-Students’ Association (Texas Exes) is a 501 (c) (3) self-governed alumni association organized solely to support The University of Texas at Austin. One of the Association’s oldest traditions is awarding scholarships to deserving students. The Association has approximately $75 million under management in a diversified investment portfolio for scholarship endowment. The Texas Exes possess unique qualifications to administer The University of Texas Scholars Program endowment:
All contributions are fully deductible and count toward The University of Texas Capital Campaign.
The infrastructure needed to manage endowments already exists, including the flexibility to meet future needs such as minority scholarships and distribution amounts.
Costs for the Texas Exes to administer the scholarships are low.
Dinners and other social programming allow donors opportunities to personalize the scholarship-giving experience.
Donors will be recognized by the Texas Exes and the University.
